About the grapes

Valevino Out of Office is a blend of Chardonnay, Yellow Muscat, Pinot Gris, and Riesling grapes. The grapes grow in loamy-clay soil in the highest lying areas of the famous Škalce, where the sun is abundant throughout the year.
How white wine is made
Behind the wine

The family has been growing vines on their land for over a hundred years, and the vineyard cellar was originally built by the women of the family and local nuns. Miha, a bright young winemaker and engineer, now runs the family vineyard and is adding his creativity and innovation.
