Bring Italian summer home with this lovely summer sipper!! If you’re like me, you love something fresh and lightly sweet for a poolside spritz or aperitif. I was so excited when I discovered the Hugo Spritz while traveling.
As a former bartender, I love playing with super simple recipes, and Prosecco cocktails are my current favorite experiment.
For this recipe, I measure using a 1.5-ounce shot glass. If you decide to vary your amounts of elderflower liquor, soda water, and Prosecco based on your preferences I’d recommend keeping it proportional.
Serving size: 1
Ingredients
- 1.5 fl oz of elderflower liqueur (I use St-Germain)
- 1-2 sprigs of fresh mint
- Lemon (optional)
- 1.5 fl oz of soda water
- 4.5 ounces Valevino Skinny Dip Prosecco
- ice
Step 1:
Muddle elderflower liqueur, mint, and lemon (optional). Let it sit for a few minutes.
Note: I toss in a splash of lemon into the Vinat Hugo. I love the little hint of flavor it adds! This is totally optional as the lemon is often used as a garnish.
Step 2:
Add ice to the glass.
Step 3:
Top it off with Valevino Skinny Dip Prosecco & soda water.
Step 4:
Stir to blend your ingredients.
Step 5:
Sip & enjoy!
Saluti!
